Dr. Maria Paradis, OD
Dr. Jarrod Nigrelli, OD
Doctor Maria Paradis is a founder and partner of Eyes On Nigrelli. Dr. Paradis is now accepting new and established patients for comprehensive eye exams including multifocal, astigmatic and spherical contact lenses fittings. She is a residency-trained optometrist specialized in advanced ocular disease, emergency care, low vision, specialty contact lenses, and binocular vision. Dr. Paradis is also proficient at myopia control, pre/post operative exams, amblyopia and pediatric care including infant and toddler exams.
Dr. Paradis is adamant about staying up to date with the most current research and standards of care. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. Dr. Paradis completed her residency in ocular disease at WJB Dorn Veterans Affairs Medical Center in South Carolina. She has completed externships at the Atwater Eye Care Center in Bloomington Indiana, Roudebush VAMC in Indianapolis Indiana, North Suburban Vision Consultants in Deerfield Illinois, and the Dorn VAMC in Columbia South Carolina.
Dr. Paradis earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2018, where she received the Deans Academic Merit Scholarship and graduated with High Honors. She attended the University of Connecticut where she received the Presidential Scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Animal Science and Pathobiology.
Doctor Jarrod Nigrelli is a founder and partner of Eyes On Nigrelli. Dr. Nigrelli is now accepting new and established patients for comprehensive eye exams including multifocal, astigmatic and spherical contact lenses fittings. His areas of expertise include ocular disease, acute eye care emergencies, amblyopia, contact lens exams, binocular vision and pre/post operative exams. He also provides care at the Naval Branch Health Clinic in Groton, Connecticut.
Dr. Nigrelli utilizes the latest technology and research in order to offer his patients the best care available. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. He has completed externships at the Atwater Eye Care Center in Bloomington Indiana, Indianapolis Eye Care Center in Indianapolis Indiana, Vision Care Specialists in Des Plaines Illinois, and the Dorn VAMC in Columbia South Carolina.
Dr. Nigrelli earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2018. For his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Connecticut, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2014 with a major in Biological Sciences and a double minor in Ecology/Evolutionary Biology and Psychology.
